This greatly depends on your language and country but there are a few Facebook groups and there is the S.H.Figuarts reddit page but the best place is the "Global DB SHFiguarts Collectors" Discord channel which you can find linked on this website. The channel aims to be a positive environment with regular community events, including sponsored contests!

Premium Bandai, or P-Bandai, is the offical Bandai online store where Bandai sells figures directly to consumers. They are regional stores, for example a Japanese and USA P-Bandai store. Each store only ships to their respective region and may sell region-exclusive items.

For recent releases, the box will have a round 'Tamashii Nations Quality' sticker and a rectangle Toei sticker. Additionally, check the print quality of the box. For example, the effect lines on the Android17/18 boxes are light grey on the official boxes and dark black on the bootleg boxes.

Unfortunately some defects or issues can slip through with mass produced figures, but don't worry Tamashii Nations/Bandai is there for you. Contact the place you bought the figure from/local distributor right away and supply them with detailed information and images. For example if you are in the USA, you can contact Bluefin as they are the American distributor, or Curibo for UK customers.

1.0 and 2.0 refers to the body types the figures use. Starting from the Super Saiyan Awakening Son Goku release, the types of legs/waist/shoulder joints etc drastically changed. If you check out the 360 images on the reference pages for the earlier releases compared to recent ones, you will notice the difference right away.

This will vary depending on your country so I recommend joining the 'Global DB SHFiguarts Collectors' Discord channel for the latest 'Trusted Store' list. If you are in a country where Premium Bandai is available, this is the best place to order your P-bandai releases as they will not be sold in store or resold once their preorder window closes.

There are three main release methods for Dragonball S.H.Figuarts. 'Regular' or 'Retail' releases are sold via physical retail stores or online stores and these will sometimes get a restock/re-release. 'Premium Bandai' releases are limited to only Premium Bandai and have a set preorder window. As of now, figures from Premium Bandai have not been re-released. 'Event Exclusive' releases are sold at an event like SDCC or online for a very short period of time.

There have been several versions of the Toei stickers. There may be changes every now and then but in general, gold & silver is for Japan releases, purple is for North American releases, silver is also used in Europe and red is for Hong Kong releases.

The best place to get answers is the 'Global DB SHFiguarts Collectors' Discord channel. You can join by clicking the Discord icon on the top menu bar or at the bottom of this page.
