At the end of last week Tamashii Nations announced they are releasing an Event Exclusive S.H.Figuarts Jiraiya at Anime Expo 2023 (https://tamashiiweb.com/en/event/ax2023/) which is in LA from July 1st-4th. While we have not gotten the full details yet, I would expect him to be like last years Madara release where he will appear at multiple events including SDCC which is later next month.
At first glance, the main difference is the more vibrant colour profile compared to the original release. Once you start looking closer, you will see the faces have been redone and while they offer the same expression they do differ slightly, most noticeably they have finer lines and printing. The biggest difference though, is the addition of a brand new shocked/goofy face which will pair beautifully with the recently released kid Naruto.
